These are 10 Nigerian youths
Only they are now corpses, gone and forever. How? They went to write Immigration test and there was a stampede due to the 60,000 plus crowd in the National Stadium, Abuja. What the hell!
The Immigration authorities and the Ministry of Interior knew they were administering tests to over 200,000 Nigerian youths since over 5 months ago, yet they failed to make adequate plans. I have questions. And many:
Couldn't they have employed the services of reputable organizations like JAMB and WAEC? What was the N1,000 collected from each of these youths used for then?
Furthermore, why did the youths accept to write that shame of a test in such inhumane conditions? Couldn't they have protested like their colleagues in Lagos? WHY ARE NIGERIAN YOUTHS SO SILLY AND DOCILE? For how long are we going to be trampled upon by these potbellied and evil few? When do we seize our country from the expired?
I will always say this, the Nigerian youths have themselves to blame. You voted for this democracy. So, this is one of the dividends that you have being enjoying since 1999. Someone promised you jobs and you have to pay to get it? As if that is not enough, your blood or that of your friends will have to be spilled. In the long run, he gives his family and cronies the jobs. No one has resigned. No one fired. No one prosecuted. To be swept underneath like many before our very senses.
If next year, you stand on the queue to vote tribalism, religion, party, money or promises: YOU ARE A FOOL. And may it never be well with you and your generation on this earth.
THIS COUNTRY IS OURS TO LEAD.my heart is bleeding and my soul thirsty for justice.these people accept whatever is thrown at them.they bow down in gratitude to the very bullies extracting every piece of quality product in them. their birthrights are openly car-goed from them and in ignorance,illiteracy and gross foolishness they chatter praises for animal worthy left overs given to them with grumblings from those thieves and pen robbers they sentimentally vote to power..who is that youth that will stand with me in this fight of injustice? where are those willing to come out and say enough is enough. this sucks...God help us
