born Rex Chinedu john on 16/11/1993 in the northern nigerian city of jos,attended federal government college,jos then obtained a bachelors degree on computer science from the university of nicosia,cyprus. the geek turned rap star has featured on nigeria's government owned TV station NTAi and had a few screen stints on other local tv stations and south africa's dstv. j2rex's style is termed ''slow poetic rap'' and has done many narrative voices for commercials. the widely travelled nigerian speaks 4 languages including italian and has divine skills on a soccer pitch too.j2rex started professionally in 2010 yet remains unsigned but has an inept fanbase on YOUTUBE and soundcloud. the IT guru still finds time to code,mostly on android [eclipse] platform and has 5 singles to his credit.. j2rex is single and very shy.loves milk and potato chips and intends hosting a rap battle show that involves and up and coming MC against a known MC.
