Until recently, roller skating has being termed by many as a death
daring activity amongst youths, especially with the current trend
amongst skaters in Nigeria lacing up and taking to the streets as they
dangerously dash through traffic, constantly coming in conflict with
the public and law enforcement authorities. But come Saturday, 27th of
February, at the Rwang Pam Township Stadium, an Unveiling ceremony of
the Triple-S-Africa - Skate Safe, Skate Right & Skate Legal Country
Campaign, will hold with the foremost goal: “to effectively advocate
for, promote Best Practice in Inline Roller skating in Nigeria and the
foster improvement of Skaters road user behaviour.”
The Skate Safe, Skate Right & Skate Legal Country Campaign, is the
first of the Triple-S-Africa Series Bundles of Street Skates & Stunts
Global Africa, an indigenous extreme sports entertainment company set
up to take the current fast rising game of roller skating in Nigeria
from the dare-devil, disoriented and disorganized type of sports that
brings skaters in constant conflict with the public and authorities;
transforming every aspect of the games into human capital development
